Will always goes the extra mile for that extra shot - the one that you're really, really glad you've got once you get into the edit. He brings serious visual flair to a shoot, and bags full of ideas. He's also great fun and a boost to spirits on the greyest of shoot days. His energy is unfailing. That's without even mentioning his considerable and accomplished drone piloting skills. He's deeply passionate about his craft, and will collaborate with you to make the absolute best of time, location and resources.

Jobim Sampson - Series Producer - BBC's Earth's Natural Wonders

Whether it’s trekking across the scorching deserts of Egypt in search of lost cities or sailing into the teeth of a North Atlantic gale trying to locate the wreck site of Titanic, Will has proven himself time and time again able to produce beautifully crafted and composed sequences in the most difficult of filming circumstances. Highly technically proficient and able to work at speed Will applies himself to all filming tasks with energy and a great sense of humour. Equally at home shooting interviews with academics or aristocracy, in muddy trenches or palatial drawing rooms. Practical, resourceful and above all a great eye for lighting and composition, Will is a true all-round great Director of Photography.

Mel Morpeth - Excecutive producer

Will was fantastic to work with – enthusiastic, hard working and very good at coming up with ways to film in difficult circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Sarah Winter - Production Manager - ‘The House the 50’s Built’ Wall to Wall

Over the last dozen or so years I've had the pleasure of watching Will's transformation from an enthusiastic young camera assistant in to a talented, mature and well-respected camera man. He's got a great eye, is a team player, and though he's confident in his own abilities, takes direction without fuss.

Whether hunting for T-Rex's in the deserts of Montana, or spending ten days in the North Atlantic diving the Titanic, he's always been supportive, hard working and fun to have around.

Sir Tony Robinson

For the last few series, he became one of our prime choices for DoP on the first unit. In that role, he worked closely with a good number of different directors, Tony Robinson and other on-screen talent.

Will is always willing to try new things; he cheerfully gets on with everyone and with every task. He is always concerned to deliver the best quality work, whilst being aware of those constant companions on shoots, time and money.

Philip Clarke - Excecutive Producer-Picture House/Wildfire Television: "Time Team"

I've filmed with Will many times over the past 6 years for TV documentaries. He's one of the first cameramen I will check is available if I know a project is coming up. He has a great eye for a beautifully composed shot and is great fun to work with.

James Franklin - Director

Will’s a great asset to any shoot- very creative photography, a fantastic eye for framing and extremely hard working and fast. I’ve worked with him for years and can’t recommend him enough. He’s also very good with talent and the general public making any shoot involving him a joy.

Michael Douglas - Series Producer – ‘The House the 50’s Built’:  Wall to Wall

I've known Will professionally for over ten years and can recommend him with confidence. Visually he always has a lot to add to a shoot with fresh ideas and clever techniques for getting the most out of a shot. And personally he's great to have around, his warmth and humour helping you get the most out of the talent and a genuine can-do attitude that ensures everything gets done, whatever the pressure.
